The challenge

How it works

On race day — April 2027 — I'll be running the London Marathon. Somewhere between the start line and the finish, I'll cross the line at a very specific time. Your job is to guess it.

The person whose predicted finish time is closest to my actual time wins a prize. Entry is by donation — every guess helps push the total toward £3,000 for Alzheimer's Research UK.

02 Submit your guess
Email your predicted finish time (hours:minutes:seconds) to william.kemp@me.com with your name. One guess per person.
03 Wait for race day
April 2027 — I run, you watch. The closest guess wins. Winner announced within 48 hours of the finish.
